Description
THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH FEDERAL ACQUISITION REGULATION (FAR) 12.603, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION, W58RGZ-10-R-0308. REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. THIS REQUIREMENT IS FOR SERVICES APPLICABLE TO THE UH-60A/L/M BLACKHAWK MEDEVAC AIRCRAFT.THIS REQUIREMENT WILL BE PROCURED COMMERCIALLY AS A NEW FIVE (5) YEAR FIRM-FIXED PRICE (FFP) REQUIREMENTS CONTRACT ACTION SOLE SOURCE TO AIR METHODS CORPORATION, 7301 S. PEORIA STREET, ENGLEWOOD, CO 80112, CAGE CODE: 07QY8. THIS REQUIREMENT IS FOR TEARDOWN AND INSPECTION (T&I) AND REPAIR AND OVERHAUL (R&O) SERVICES IN SUPPORT OF THE MEDICAL SUITE, PATIENT CARE EQUIPMENT, (LITTER LIFT, AMBULATORY SEATS, OVERHEAD LIGHT BAR, OVERHEAD AND SIDE PANELS, ELECTRICAL PANELS, INSTALLATION MODULES, AND VACUUM SYSTEMS) USE ON THE UH-60A/L/M BLACKHAWK MEDEVAC AIRCRAFT.THE SOLICITATION DOCUMENT AND INCORPORATED PROVISIONS AND CLAUSES ARE THOSE IN EFFECT THROUGH FEDERAL ACQUISITION CIRCULAR: 97-03. THIS REQUIREMENT WILL BE PROCURED UNDER NACIS CODE: 336413. INSPECTION AND ACCEPTANCE FOR T&I WILL BE ORIGIN. INSPECTION AND ACCEPTANCE FOR R&O WILL BE ORIGIN; FREE ON BOARD FOR R&O WILL BE DESTINATION. T&I TURN AROUND TIME AND FFP PROPOSAL SUBMISSION SHALL BE WITHIN 10 WORKING DAYS AFTER AUTHORIZATION TO COMMENCE T&I. R&O TURN AROUND TIME FOR REPAIR, TEST, INSPECTION AND SHIPMENT SHALL BE 35 DAYS AFTER AUTHORIZATION TO COMMENCE R&O. THE PROVISIONS AT FAR 52.212-1, INSTRUCTIONS TO OFFERORS ? COMMERCIAL AND FAR 52.212-4 CONTRACT TERMS AND CONDITIONS-COMMERCIAL ITEMS APPLY TO THIS ACQUISITION.
