Description

This is a PRESOLICITATION NOTICE. The National Park Service, Mount Rainier National Park announce a requirement for Bituminsus Surface Treatment (BST) chip-seal of the pedestrian plaza area around the new visitor center. Project will include asphalt surface cleaning; furnish and place asphalt emulision; furnish and place 3/8 inch aggregate; rolling to set the aggregate; and sweeping to remove excess / loose aggregate.This acquisition is being advertized as full and open opportunity. The estimated magnitude is between $25,000 and $100,000. North American Industry Classifications System code (NAICS 237310) Contractors are required to be registered and active with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) System and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA).THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow up information requests. The solicitation with specifications and wage rates will be posted to the https://www.fbo.gov/ website on or about 22 April 2010. No hardcopies of the solicitation and applicable amendments will be mailed. To receive the Request for Proposal package and any applicable amendments, offerors must download them from the https://www.fbo.gov/ website.
