- RECOVERY--PER FAR 5.7 THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY; THEREFORE FAR 5.203 DOES NOT APPLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTOR BRAHMA ENGINEERING, INC. UNDER THE CURRENT ROOFING CONTRACT# FA4610-05-D-0003 AT VANDENBERG AFB, CA. The scope of work for this project includes: The existing built up roofing system shall be removed down to the decking. The building and its contents shall remain in a watertight condition at all times. The existing deck shall be overlaid with plywood sheathing and a new four ply built up roof system applied. The new roof system shall consist of a three ply membrane with a modified bitumen cap sheet and or torch applied cap. The roof system shall consist of all roof penetration flashings, metal gravel stops and all accessories for a complete system to include the appropriate vent piping and fittings to be installed on the roof. The existing siding perimeter soffit that is warping away from the facility shall be repaired/removed and be replaced with new siding to match. Will include the necessary counter flashing and backing material for a water tight seal between the siding joints for the soffit area. Siding shall be painted to match the existing building color scheme. Companies interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact the above referenced contractor. TASK ORDER MAGNITUDE: $25,000 - $100,000
