- RECOVERY--PER FAR 5.7 THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY; THEREFORE FAR 5.203 DOES NOT APPLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTOR BRAHMA ENGINEERING, INC. UNDER THE CURRENT ROOFING CONTRACT# FA4610-05-D-0003 AT VANDENBERG AFB, CA. The scope of work for this project includes: Remove and dispose existing roof vents (1 large and 3 small) and 1 electrical service feed conduit located on top of facility; Remove and dispose existing pitched-corrugated metal roof with exposed fasteners to include front and back flashings; Remove and dispose existing metal sliding doors located on northeast and southwest side of facility to include associated hardware. Remove sliding door tracks and repair concrete ramps; Construct/install new corrugated baked-enameled aluminum (rust and corrosion resistant) nationally approved factory roofing materials with fasteners which include the front and back flashings to match existing structure; Construct/install 2 new medium-size natural draft roof vents centered to match existing structure and 2 radiant heater vents; Repair and replace damaged, bent and corroded metal siding throughout the facility. Provide Option1 proposal to replace siding; and All roof vent seams and metal siding seams, holes and all other piping ventilation system seams protruding throughout the roof (roof penetrations) and walls shall be sealed.
