Description
Draft PES PWS Draft OA PWS Draft MM PWS Requirements Description Industry Day Questions The Warner Robins Air Logistics Center is hosting an Industry Day on 27-28 Apr 10 to obtain industry feedback associated with an initiative by the 542 CSW to acquire system level 3 Performance Based Logistics (PBL) support including material management, program engineering support, unscheduled depot level repair and overhaul on the Tunner 60K Aircraft loader. These services are described in the Program Description Summary contained in the Document Packages posted with this announcement. Our acquisition strategy is still being developed and will be announced as soon as practical. The Air Force intends to acquire this PBL for the Tunner weapon system via a FAR 15 contract. The contractor will provide a broad range of support for a fleet of 318 Tunner loaders deployed at approximately 80 world-wide locations. The AF will also require an overhaul qualification with follow‐on overhaul effort for the fleet. On the first day, we will provide a brief program overview followed by one-on-one discussions. We welcome collaboration with industry to critically review our requirements and discuss mutual issues and concerns relative to our technical requirements and acquisition strategy approach. On the second day, we will continue one‐on‐one sessions with each vendor interested in discussing specific issues and concerns relative to their company's interest. Each vendor will be allowed 10 minutes of discussion time followed by 10 minutes of questions from the government representatives for the closed sessions depending on the number of respondents. Sessions will be scheduled on a first‐come‐first-serve basis. If your company is interested in participating in the subject Industry Day, please contact Alicia Vogel by email at alicia.vogel@robins.af.mil or by phone at 478‐222‐2313. Please copy Sammy Saliba by email at sammy.saliba.ctr@robins.af.mil on any correspondence. Detailed information regarding base access, parking, and local area information will be provided to respondents. If you would like to schedule a one‐on‐one, please notify us at the time you advise of your attendance. Please respond by 19 Apr 10.
