- Synopsis for Facilities for Antenna & RCS Measurements Anechoic Chambers Refurbishment The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Patuxent River, MD intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) C type contract for refurbishment services of two Anechoic Chambers for the NAWCAD Facilities for Antenna & RCS Measurements (FARM) division. Site survey's will be allowed so that vendors can make recommendations as part of their proposal for needed refurbishments beyond the minimum requirements specified in the solicitation. This will be a full and open competition with award being made to the responsible offeror providing the best value to the Government based upon technical capability, past performance, delivery terms, and price. Companies with strong past performance working with Anechoic Chambers is encouraged to inquire. This synopsis is for informational purposes only. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS; however, responsible interested parties may submit information in which they can identify interest and capability to respond to this requirement. Responses must be received by 17:00 PM Eastern Time on 23 April 2010. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is: 236210. The anticipated solicitation number for this action is N00421-10-R-1030. The Government reserves the right to process the procurement on a sole source basis based upon the responses received. The Government will not pay for any information received. All responsible sources may submit a proposal that shall be considered by the agency.
