- Description
- The Defense Energy Support Center is seeking potential sources to provide Alongside Aircraft Refueling at Naval Air Station/Joint Reserve Base (NAS/JRB) Fort Worth, TX.(Carswell Field). NAS/JRB Fort Worth is responsible for Navy and Marine Corps Reserve pilot training and reserve readiness drills. Bulk products are also provided to local Air Reserve and Air National Guard units at the system fill stand. In support of these missions, the Contractor shall be responsible for the following fuels management functions: Bulk product, aviation and ground fuel, receipt, storage, handling, and issue operations Fuel services (issue and defuel) of aviation fuels to aircraft, ground support equipment, and facilities using mobile fuel servicing equipment and truck supported pantographs Bulk fuel services (issue) of aviation and ground fuels to other Government fuel servicing trucks/systems via the bulk storage fillstand facilities Fuel services (issue and defuel) of ground fuel products via mobile fuel servicing truck The operation of the manual/automated service station to include receipt of products Product quality surveillance, sampling and testing, and fuel laboratory operations Fuel accounting and administrative functions to include the management of Fuels Automated System (FAS), Fuel Enterprise Server (FES), and other automated accounting/data gathering chip, key, and card systems that may apply to petroleum functions All associated inspections, preventive maintenance (PM), and operator maintenance (OM) applicable to the petroleum systems and documentation of all inspections, PM/OM, maintenance, and repair actions. These actions may include the installation, administration, The Contractor’s personnel staffing objectives shall be flexible and capable of meeting the demands of multiple aircraft servicing, facility maintenance/operations, bulk fuel storage, distribution, and quality surveillance of petroleum products. The Contractor shall provide necessary equipment and trained personnel to conduct aircraft hydrant and truck refueling services. The Contractor shall be required to service military or commercial fixed or rotary wing aircraft when notified by Airfield Operations. Expressions of interest are due on Wednesday 21 April 2010.
