- The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to release a commercial solicitation for Nursing Home care for qualified Veterans Affairs patients. The Nursing Home facility must be within five (5) miles of the center of DeRidder, Louisiana. All contract details, which include full specifications and Statement of Work will be included in the Request for Proposal (RFP), which is expected to be released about April 8, 2010. Any contractor who wishes to receive a copy of the RFP may submit a request in writing. A fax is also acceptable. Fax number is 501-228-8622.
