- Description
- The General Services Administration, Region 8, Mountain Plains Service Center is seeking Architectural Design services on an as needed basis. GSA is seeking multiple firms with design experience and who are LEED certified. This notice is related to the Sources Sought 8PSM0001 posted last year. The service areas covered will be located within the Rocky Mountain Region, covering: 1) Primary: Montana, Utah, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming and 2) secondary will include the State of Colorado. These contracts will be procured in accordance with Public Law 92-582, The Brooks Act and FAR Part 36.6 Under this process, the Government will award to the most highly qualified A/E firms with whom it can negotiate a fair and reasonable price. Design services will be billed in accordance with the GSA design lookup table which is approximately 6% of the estimated construction cost amount (ECCA). All other costs will be negotiated. The services for this project are classified by NAICS code 541310 and will include, but are not limited to, preparing construction documents, and serving as the Architect of record for the project. The scope of professional services will require at a minimum: Professional architectural, landscape architectural, interior design, and related consulting services for concept design documents, design development documents, LEED services, computer-aided design and drafting (CADD), and construction administration. All design work will be required to comply with the National Environmental Policy Act. The Architect should incorporate Low Impact Development (LID) strategies. The proposed contract type is Multiple Award, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ). Work will be ordered via firm-fixed price Task Orders. The Government intends to make multiple awards. The period of performance for this award is one year, with the Government having the unilateral option to renew for four additional one year periods. The anticipated total aggregate Maximum Order Limitation (MOL) shall not exceed $1,000,000 for the Basic Period and each exercised option. The minimum guarantee will be $1,000 for the base year and $1,000 for each option period per contract (if exercised).
