- Vendor Information Conference: The Commanding Officer of Fleet Numerical Meteorology and Oceanography Center (FLENUMMETOCCEN) and the Naval Inventory Control Point (NAVICP), Mechanicsburg PA, intend to competitively procure technical support services under the IT Engineering and Mission Sustainment Program, in the following functional areas: systems engineering and integration support, technical writing and documentation, requirements management and quality process improvement engineering support services, information technology (IT) hardware and engineering analysis, innovative and emerging technologies engineering and integration support, software application maintenance enhancement and engineering support, database architecture, modeling and administration support, IT system administration / IT support, communications multi-level security guards and network accreditation systems engineering, analysis and integration, METOC production support services and project management / administrative support / I! T business management. The FLENUMMETOCCEN, Monterey, CA, will be hosting an vendor information conference on Tuesday, 27 April 2010, 8AM - 4PM. The conference will provide briefs from FLENUMMETOCCEN subject matter experts in each of the functional areas (above) followed by a vendor question / Government response session; see below for conference location. All interested participants should register by contacting the Contract Specialist at the email indicated below with the vendor name and point of contact information of the attendees (limit 2 per vendor). Once registered, all further communications between the Government and the Vendor will occur through the NAVICP collaboration website for this requirement; see below. Attendance is not required for participation in any future procurement of these services. The Contracting Officer will register interested vendors into the collaboration system and provide access to this information. When access is provided to the vendor, the vendor will be notified via an automatic email generated through the system. A conference agenda and Performance Work Statement for the requirement will be uploaded into the system on or before 21 April 2010. All information passed through the system to the vendor community is sanitized of proprietary and identifying formation. Vendors that have registered into the system can access the requirement at any time and to review / upload documents and messages. All Vendor questions, technical and price proposal uploads received through this system are viewable only by Government personnel assigned to the project.
