Description
RECOVERY ACT SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE SOLICITATION NO.: GS-02P-10-DTC-0014 THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS ONLY. This is not a request for offers or proposals. This notice does not represent a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or award a contract. Information received will be used to determine the availability of technically capable and otherwise responsible firms that would be interested in submitting offers for this anticipated solicitation. The General Services Administration ("GSA") Northeast and Caribbean Region is conducting a market survey and is seeking sources for services to move office equipment, IT equipment, medical files, and other items from the Veterans Administration ("VA") office from the locations referenced below. The requirements for this opportunity include moving these items from the existing VA office in Puerto Rico to a new VA office in Puerto Rico. VA Existing Office: Degetau Federal Office Building, 2 nd and 3 rd floors 150 Carlos F. Chardon Street Hato Rey, Puerto Rico 00918-1746 VA New Office: El Nuevo Dia - Annex, ground and 2 nd floors # 50 State Road 165 Guaynabo, PR 00968-8024 The scope of work will involve the following work but is not limited to: 1. Moving approximately 4,175 Fiduciary Folders. 2 Moving approximately 11,725 Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment Folders. 3. Moving approximately 67,000 Claim Folders 4. Moving approximately 185 Employees' workstation files and personal belonging. Approximately Four (4) boxes per employee. 5. Moving approximately 110 pieces of office equipment such as refrigerators, mailing equipment, copiers, type writers, TV, fax machines, fans, carts, recording equipment, safe, etc. 6. Moving IT Equipment consisting of desktop computers, laptop computers, printers, monitors, scanners, servers, switches, etc. The current estimated range is $125,000 to $150,000. The Government anticipates issuing an RFP on or about June 2010. The estimated project duration is two (2) weeks from Notice to Proceed (NTP). The North American Industry System (NAICS) code for this effort is 484210 and the Small Business Administration (SBA) size standard is $25.5 million in average annual gross receipts over a three year period. The project will require work to be performed within an occupied Federal Office Building while minimizing disruptions to the operations of the existing facility. Office equipment, IT equipment, and employees personal belongs will be relocated in one weekend. Companies who have the necessary experience in files relocation and packaging and relocation, as well as an interest in this project, should submit a statement of capabilities, which is not a proposal, but rather a short statement regarding the firm's expertise and experience on projects similar in scope to the one described in this notice. Firms should indicate eligibility for SBA programs and whether they are a Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, Woman Owned Small Business, HUBZone Small Business, Veteran Owned Small Business, or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business..
