- USDA ARS has a requirement for removing and replacing existing rusted roof sheets and metal beams on two buildings at Isabela, PR. Building 11 is approximately 100 ft x 35 ft and Building 4 is approximately 65 ft x 43 ft. Work will include but may not be limited to removal and disposal of rusted panels and beams, installation of new galvanized steel beams and metal roof panels, installation of ridge caps, rake trim, gutters and metal cables to be attached to the concrete walls to protect from hurricane winds. The applicable NAICS code for this project is 238160 with a small business size standard of $14,000,000. Magnitude of job is $25,000 - $100,000. Competition will be unrestricted pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The solicitation package that will contain information on a site visit will be posted at this website on or about April 23, 2010. No paper solicitations will be available.
