- Work Order Number - 975854. This is a Request for Quote (RFQ) for building 548 roof system installation Naval Air Station, Sigonella, Sicily, Italy. The work to be performed under this project consists of providing the labor, equipment, and materials to replace the existing roof system with new. Contractor shall provide the repair works as shown on the drawings and specifications prepared by NAVFAC EURSWA, Sigonella, FEAD-ENG. All contractors proposing on Department of Defense Solicitations must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award of the contract. No Electronic Submissions are Authorized. Information: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be announced. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238160. Contractors will be required to be certified in compliance with the Societa Orgainis d Attestazione (SOA) and provide proof of the certification with the submission of the firms offer. Classification is as follows: Prevailing category OG 1, Class I. Estimated cost: ?0.00 to ?258,228.00. This is a new procurement. It does not replace an existing contract. No information exists on prior contract. The project includes a base bid item. The total duration shall not exceed 90 calendar days. The project will be solicited as a Request for Quotes (RFQ). Offerors can view and/or download the solicitation via Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) website at https://euro.neco.navy.mil when it becomes available. All interested offerors shall register at this website. No notice of solicitation activity will be provided to interested offerors. Proposals are expected to be due on April 23, 2010 at 14:00 P.M. (CET). All dates are tentative and are subject to change. Registration for this solicitation does not release bidders from the responsibility of checking the solicitation daily for any amendments or other information pertaining to this solicitation. This is an internet only solicitation, paper copies of the solicitation, amendments, drawings and maps will not be provided. Amendments will also be posted on the website for downloading. All interested offerors shall register at the website to ensure they are notified of updates or amendments to the solicitation as they occur. ***CONTRACTORS MUST CHECK THE "NAVFAC VENDOR" BOX WHEN REGISTERING in EuroNECO to be notified of NAVFAC business opportunities.
