- Persuant to FAR 6.302-1 and Bureau of Prisons Acquisitions Policy (BPAP) Part 6.304(c). The Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons, intends to award a sole source procurement with the Federal Asian Pacific American Council for training services. The contractor will serve as a subject matter expert on various Affirmative Action Topics in Criminal Justice within the Federal Government. The participants will attend the "Diverse Leadership for a Diverse Workforce" workshops from Monday, May, 3rd 2010 until Friday, May 7, 2010. The statuatory authority is 41 U.S.C. 253 (c)(1), Only One Responsible Source. The applicable NAICS code is 611430. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the Government. Any parties interested in the award should submit their response, with proof of ability to provide the service, no later than April 8, 2010. Information received will normally be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
