Description
RECOVERY - "In compliance with the transparency and accountability requirements associated with the supplemental appropriations provided by the American Recovery and Re-Investment Act of 2009, Pub.L. 111-5, the Government posts this presolicitation notice of intent to issue a task order MODIFICATION under an established Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract task order with AMEC Earth and Environmental, a Prime Contractors presently assigned to the Sustainment, Restoration & Modernization Acquisition Task Order Contract (SATOC), which is operated by HQ AETC CONS LGCT Office, c/o HQ AFCESA CONS CEKC at Tyndall AFB, FL. AMEC Earth and Environmental (AMEC), was previously issued the task order to be modified. This notice is provided for INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. This task order modification calls for installing the ice storage tanks below ground at a depth of 3 to 5 feet The Government intends to issue a task order modification to AMEC, one of the SATOC Prime Contractors under the SATOC IDIQ, against the existing task order. AMEC's, main point of contact is as follows--Companies interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact the POC listed: SATOC AMEC Margaret Cooter 865-671-6774 Margaret.cooter@amec.com The purpose of this project modification is to bring the existing gylcol levels into compliance with the base specifications to10degrees F. The actiion also includes redesign of the the location of the tank at B479 and the resulting increases in piping, pipe supports, fittings, and insulation, as well as removing and reinstalling the fence at B479.
