- Description
- The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Indian Health Service (IHS), Tucson Area Office is soliciting proposals from interested vendors for a Nurse Triage System to be provided to eligible American Indians and Alaskan Natives after hours (Monday – Friday 5:00pm – 8:00pm), weekends and Federal holidays. The Nurse Triage system objective is to help determine if eligible patients can be treated at home or be referred to a local urgent care or emergency room facility. The contract will include one (1) base year and one (1) option year. The Nurse Triage system shall include the following: Contractor shall provide facility, personnel, labor, materials, equipment, and services for providing a telephone-based nurse triage system. The Tucson Area IHS estimates approximately 50-70 calls per month to be processed by the contractor. Anticipated start date: July 01, 2010 – June 30, 2011 with option to extend for one year. RFQ # 10-249-SOL-00006 Opening date: April 28, 2010 Closing date: May 28, 2010 Request for copies of the RFQ will be available on April 28, 2010 with proposals due no later than May 28, 2010.
