- This acquisition will be a total small business set-aside.NSN: 2840-01-146-9392 JF.OEM Code: 07482 P/N: 9976M66P08.Description: F101 Engine Metallic Seal. Functions to hold number 5bearing inner race, air seal, and seal housing in place on the LPTshaft. Dimensions are approximately 2.976 inches long, 8.08 inches minand 8.082 inches max inside diameter, 10.958 inches min and 10.962inches max outside diameter. Material is steel alloy AMS 6322.Quantity: Total 3 Year Best Estimated Quantity is 110 each. 1st yearBEQ of 82 each; 2nd year BEQ of 15 each; 3rd year BEQ of 13 each. Totalcontract maximum quantity is 165 each.Destination: FB2039, Tinker AFB OK.Delivery Schedule: 1st year order of 82 each at a rate of 8 eachmonthly beginning 28 SEP 2012.Qualification Requirements: Award will be made only if the offeror, theproduct/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements atthe time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. Thesolicitation will identify the office where additional information canbe obtained concerning qualification requirements as cited in theindividual solicitation.All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation whichshall be considered by the agency.One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to Free TradeAgreements.An ombudsman has been appointed to hear and facilitate the resolution ofconcerns from offerors, potential offerors, and others for thisacquisition. The existence of the ombudsman does not affect theauthority of the program manager, contracting officer, or sourceselection official. When requested, the ombudsman will maintain strictconfidentiality as to source of the concern. Further, the ombudsmandoes not participate in the evaluation of proposals, the sourceselection process, or adjudication of protests or formal contractdisputes. The ombudsman may refer the party to another official who canresolve the concern. The ombudsman can be reached at (405) 734-8253,fax (405) 734-8129. DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER FOR SOLICITATION REQUESTS.Based upon market research, the Government does not anticipate usingpolicies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in itssolicitation for the described supplies or services. However,interested parties may identify to the contracting officer theirinterest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with acommercial item within 15 days of this notice.Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. Requests forWritten Quotation/Proposal will be issued. Only written or faxedrequests received directly from the requestors are acceptable. Theanticipated award date will be 60 to 90 days after the issuance of thisnotice.The engineering technical data package for this specific item will bereferenced and posted with the solicitation.Both new manufactured material and new/unused government surplusmaterial will be solicited to meet the requirements of this acquisition.
