Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation number W9127Q-10-T-0015 is issued as an RFQ and is issued as UNRESTRICTED. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-36. NAICS for determination of size status is 711310. The United States Property and Fiscal Office for Mississippi-Contracting Office, Jackson, MS intends to issue a purchase order for Meeting Space/Conference Facilities, meals and related services for the Yellow Ribbon Program Post/Pre Deployment/Family Demobilization Event, to be held Saturday, May 1 and Sunday, May 2, 2010. The event will be attended by 600 Army and Air Guard members and their families. This is not a solicitation for Event Planning Services or 3rd party event planning services. We will not consider a proposal submitted by an offeror that is not a hotel or conference center. REQUIREMENT: LOCATION: Only facilities located in MERIDIAN, MS will be considered. CLIN 0001 - MEETING ROOMS/VENUE: To include the usage of the following rooms/areas: Lobby/Hallway Area for event registration, One (1) room that can accommodate 425 adult participants, One (1) room that can accommodate 160 adults participants for Saturday, May 1 and Sunday, May 2, 2010, set up in rounds, and One (1) room that can accommodate 150 adult participants for Saturday, May 1, 2010 set up. In addition, the hotel/convention center must be able to provide Two (2) rooms for government provided child care approximately 75 children and 15 Child care Providers in each room for the Saturday, May 1 and Sunday, May 2, 2010. CLIN 0002 - AUDIO-VISUAL EQUIPMENT/TECHNICIAN: Four (4) Projectors, Four (4) Screens, and one (1) Podium with Microphone. Four (4) hours Technical Support for Setup and breakdown of AV equipment for Saturday, May 1 and Sunday, May 2, 2010. CLIN 0003 CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST: Continental Breakfast to consist of thirty (20) dozen assorted muffins and danishes, Twenty (15) gallons of Coffee, and Eight (8) gallons of orange juice each day for Saturday, May 1 and Sunday, May 2, 2010. CLIN 0004 - LUNCH - buffet style Lunch for four hundred fifty (450) Adults each day to consist of garden salad, one (1) meat/poultry, one (1) starch, one (1), vegetable, roll, dessert and iced tea/water for Saturday, May 1 and Sunday, May 2, 2010. CLIN 0005 BOXED LUNCHES: One Hundred Thirty Five (135) Boxed Lunches each day for children to consist of sandwiches/hotdogs/burgers, chips, fruit, cookie, and juice box/milk for Saturday, May 1 and Sunday, May 2, 2010. This solicitation is prepared IAW FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The following clauses apply: FAR 52-212-1, Instructions to Offerors (JAN 2005); FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items (Jan 1999) applies to this solicitation. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, based on technical capability and price, when combined are approximately equal. Multiple awards will not be made. The following Clauses apply to the Synopsis/Solicitation: FAR 52.212-3, Offerors Representations and Certifications (MAR 2005); FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items (OCT 2003); FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions (JULY 2005); 52.22-41, Service Contract Act of 1965 (NOV 1965); Statement of Equivalent Rates for Federal Hires (MAY 1989).
