Description
RECOVERY. This notice is provided for informational purposes only. This opportunity is available only to contractors under the GSA Federal Supply Schedule 66 - Scientific Equipment and Services. The project will be funded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act 2009. Description of requirement: The Food and Drug Administration is soliciting for an Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometer (ICP-MS) with High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) sample separation/introduction system for the NCTR/ORA Nanotechnology Core Facility. The basic system consists of an HPLC with autosampler and UV/VIS detection coupled to an ICP-MS for ionization and detection of elemental mass. The instrument must utilize a quadrupole mass selector with true hyperbolic cross section for superior peak shape and sensitivity. The ICP-MS must be able to be interfaced with an HPLC so that runs are fully automated, starting the ICP-MS data collection from a start signal from the HPLC. The software likewise should be capable of displaying HPLC-ICP-MS spectra and HPLC-UV spectra overlaid. The system should include all required equipment to interface the HPLC to the ICP-MS. This procurement will be firm-fixed price and will be competed under pre-existing Multiple Award Federal Supply Schedule contracts. A competitive Request for Quote (RFQ) will be issued via GSA e-Buy For information regarding this notice, please contact Nick Sartain at (870) 543-7370, FAX (870) 543-7990 or email nick.sartain@fda.hhs.gov
