- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE This publication serves as notice of intent to procure services for the Department of the Interior, National Park Service, on a sole source basis, with: Telonics, Inc., 32 E. Impala Ave., Mesa, AZ 85204. The tasks required for this contract consist of the following: Refurbish 15 Gen3. Global Positioning System collars and supply 1 Gen4 Global Positioning System collar. Under authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii), the value of the contract is expected to be under $26,000. The National Park Service (NPS), Denali National Preserve and Preserve has purchased GPS radio transmitter collars from Telonics, Inc under a previous contract. The collars are being returned to Telonics, Inc for refurbishment and subsequent reuse. Telonics, Inc is the only company that will refurbish its manufactured collars. This Notice of Intent is not a request for Expressions of Interest (EOIs), proposals or quotations. No solicitation document exists and no telephone inquiries will be accepted. No contract award will be made on the basis of EOIs, proposals or quotations received in response to this notice. This supply will be procured under Firm Fixed Price Supply in accordance with FAR 12 procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized under FAR 6.302-1.
