- RECOVERY - This action is funded through the American Recovery and ReinvestmentAct of 2009.<P>Recovery Task Order 2, titled PROPROTOR, supports NASA Recovery Act work sponsored by theAeronautics Research Mission Directorate.<P>The purpose of this task is for design and fabrication of blades for use in tilt-rotoraeroelastic research using the tilt-rotor drive system in the National Full-scaleAerodynamics Complex (NFAC). NASA will utilize this rotor system and data acquired fromit to validate current and emerging new analysis and identify advanced technologyconcepts for future research.<P>The award notice is for INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. The task order is issued under anexisting Cost Plus Fixed Fee contract NNA09DA55C, which was made on a competitive basis. Due to the nature of this work, a Cost Plus Fixed Fee task order was determinedappropriate.
