- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is soliciting for quotes to provide Haworth brand chairs delivered to the 15 locations listed in the Chair Matrix section of the solicitation. The solicitation number W912ES-10-T-0040 is issued as a service disabled, veteran owned (SDVO) small business set-aside. The solicitation will be issued in accordance with FAR Part 12, and evaluated in accordance with FAR Part 13. The requirement is for 53 Standard Chairs (SXT-20-724MA1), 2 Large Chairs (M271-1941), and 5 Conference Chairs (SZT-20-101MA1). The resultant contract will be a Firm-Fixed Price Contract. The associated NAICS code is 337214 and the size standard is 500 employees. The Government will award a contract to the responsible SDVO SB lowest price technically acceptable offer. The offeror must meet the salient features as outlined in the Chair Matrix. The offeror must complete clause 52.212-3 and return it with the quote. Offeror must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry located at www.ccr.gov prior to contract award. A determination by the government to not award based on the responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the government.
