Description
PR No: IQC10104009076; This solicitation will contain 1 NSN Retainer, Seal Exhaust utilized on the F404 Aircraft Engines. This solicitation is for award of an indefinite quantity contract. The solicitation has a base year and four option years. Configuration and Export Control apply. A Contractor First Article Test (FAT) applies. The NSN and Annual Estimated Quantity (AEQ) are as follows: NSN: 2840-01-218-5549 OEM: GENERAL ELECTRIC COMPANY CAGE 99207 P/N 4080T38P01 APPROVED SOURCES: BERKSHIRE INDUSTRIES, INC. CAGE 07039 P/N 4080T38P01 TSS TECHNOLOGIES, INC. CAGE 28884 P/N 4080T38P01 DEAN MACHINE PRODUCTS INC. CAGE 7D849 P/N 4080T38P01 AEQ: 1500 ea Delivery: FOB Destination, Inspection/Acceptance at Origin, 200 days after First Article Approval. Surge requirements do not apply to this NSN. This is a 100% small business set aside. Other than full and open competition applies. The final contract award decision may be based on a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The anticipated issue date is on or about May 4, 2010. The anticipated award date is August 17, 2010. The solicitation document contains information that has been designated as "Militarily Critical Technical Data." Only businesses that have been certified by the Department of Defense, United States/Canada Joint Certification Office, and have a valid requirement may have a copy of the solicitation document. All requests for copies of the solicitation document must include a certified copy of DD Form 2345, Militarily Critical Technical Data Agreement. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only approved sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
