- This performance work statement contains valuable information and is provided for your convenience. The 95th Contracting Squadron (95CONS) is seeking potential sources capable of cleaning, disinfecting, and repairing firefighter personal protective clothing for Edwards AFB, CA. The contractor shall provide all management, personnel, tools, vehicles, supplies, materials, equipment, and labor necessary to clean, disinfect, and repair firefighter protective clothing (turnouts) IAW NFPA 1851 Selection, Care, and Maintenance of Protective Ensembles for Structural Fire Fighting and Proximity Fire Fighting, 2008 Edition, as required, as well as, but not limited to, medical supplies, backboards, various types of tools, self contained breathing apparatus, etc. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) number for this effort is 453998. Please indicate your firms small business status. Contract award is estimated to take place May 2010. This synopsis constitutes one form of early industry involvement and the Government requests industry recommendations, opinions, and feedback. This synopsis is for planning purposes only, and does not constitute a solicitation for bids/proposals. Responses will assist the Government in determining whether to set-aside/restrict competition in some way or solicit offers from all responsible sources. All interested parties who believe that they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing the complete information describing their capability and qualifications to provide the aforementioned support services. Please include your company name, point of contact, address, telephone number, Duns & Bradstreet Unique Numbering System (DUNS) number, Central Contractor Registration (CCR), and Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code. The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this announcement. Potential offerors must be registered in CCR to be eligible for contract award or payment from any Department of Defense activity.
