- Recovery TAS::14 1112::TAS Project Number L10RG00661 Project work includes Description of Work: This project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and supplies required to complete the following tasks:1. Mount Fairplay Wayside: Place approximately eight (8 ) cubic yards of engineered fill over failing, slumping aggregate around viewing deck and foot path (approximately 10' x 50' and 5' x 20' path areas) and install ten (10) vehicle barriers (wood treated posts, match existing) to restrict public entry. Smooth over existing aggregate surface before placing a 4" layer of new gravel fill material. New material shall be compacted in place. 2. West Fork Wayside/ River Access: Survey existing parking lot to cut and reshape existing surface to remove high spot in the middle of the lot and to provide 10" crown for drainage. Add and compact 4" of new engineered fill on top of the reshaped parking lot and compact in place. Blade and smooth out existing surface of boat ramp area, add and compact 4" of new engineered fill on top of the ramp area. Feather new ramp fill to match existing road grade. Area of parking lot is 1440 square yards, area of boat ramp is 564 square feet. 3. Chicken BLM Field Station (Dredge Trail): Blade surface of existing parking lot and Helicopter Pad to smooth out surfaces, maintain drainage crown for both surface areas. Stockpile 60 cubic yards of engineered fill in an area designated by the BLM Field Office for future trail use. Add and compact 3" of engineered fill on top of the Helicopter Pad. 4. Forty Mile Bridge Wayside/ River Access: Survey existing parking lot. Cut and remove silt layer from top of parking lot surface and shape for drainage. Silt layer is estimated to be an average depth of 5". Properly dispose of silt off site. Add and compact 4" of engineered fill on top of the of the re-worked parking lot surface. Area of parking lot is 2280 square yards. Bid Alternates: 1.Bid Alternate 1 - West Fork Wayside/ River Access: Survey existing parking lot to cut and reshape existing surface to remove high spot in the middle of the lot, provide for final crown shape and to remove and stock pile an average depth of 6" of existing material at the site. Place geotextile road fabric on top of cut surface, replace andcompact removed material. Add and compact an extra 4" of new fill in addition to the 4" base bid work for a total of 8" of new fill. 2. Bid Alternate 2 - Forty Mile Bridge Wayside/ River Access: After removing silt and re-shaping parking lot surface to provide for crown, place geotextile fabric on top of new re-worked surface. Add and compact an extra 4" of new fill in addition to the 4" base bid work for a total of 8" of new fill. This is a Bureau of Land Management project awarded and administered by U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. SUBJECT TO THE AMERICAN RECOVORY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (arra) OF 2009 REPORTING REQUIREMENTS THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS ONLY BEING OFFERED TO IDIQ HOLDERS AWARDED AS RESULT OF SOLICITATION 9821003R207 MULTIPLE AWARD TASK ORDER CONTRACT (MATOC) ON THE WESTERN HALF OF THE UNITED STATES. The three companies that who will be competing for this project are C3, LLC., CH2M Hill, and URS Group, Inc. Full and open solicitation 9821009R207 was a two step acquisition under FAR 36.3 and FAR Part 15 and was awarded on December 9, 2009.
