- NASA/DFRC has a requirement for name brand Quasonix components to include:Qty 4,Tri-mode, tri-band TIMTER Telemetry transmitter, Three modes (PCM/FM, SOQPSK-TG,ARTM CPM), 1-28 Mbps (0.5-14 Mbps) with high rate option, 6 cubic inch package (2 x 3 x1), 10 W RF output, 1435.5 to 1534.5 MHz, 1750.0 to 1855.0 MHz, 2200.5 to 2394.5 MHz,0.5 MHz tuning steps, RS-422 clock and data interface, RS-232 serial control interface,parallel port frequency tuningoption, parallel port mode selection option, 9-pinparallel port option, high bit rate option.Qty 4, active switch box for parallel port frequency tuning and mode selection. Cable oftuning to frequencies in all three bands: Lower L, upper, L and full S. Also providesmode selection switch (0,1,2 corresponding to Tier 0,I,II). Qty 4, Fan-cooled heat sink for direct mount to 2 x 3 transmitter. Include AC wall portadapter.Qty4, MDM-15 connector with 36 long Teflon pigtail wiresName brand Justification attachedThis notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared inaccordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additionalinformation included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the onlysolicitation, which is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ); quotes are beingrequested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Offerors are required to usethe On-Line RFQ system to submit their quote. The On-line RFQ system is linked above orit may be accessed at http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr=C&pin=. Theinformation required by FAR Subpart 12.6 is included in the on-line RFQ.The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and the SimplifiedAcquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13.Questions regarding this acquisition must be submitted in writing (e-mail is preferred)no later than 04/28/2010. Final RFQs are due by close of business 05/05/2010. It is thequoter's responsibility to monitor this site for the release of amendments (if any).
