- Description
- CJ&A Redacted The Missile Defense Agency (MDA) awarded a sole source Cost-Plus-Incentive-Fee/Cost-Plus-Award-Fee contract with Technical/Schedule Performance Incentives (HQ0276-10-C-0001) to Lockheed Martin Maritime Systems and Sensors (MS2) of Moorestown, New Jersey. LM MS2 will continue to provide Combat System Engineering Agent (CSEA) support to the Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) Open Architecture initiatives, integration of Standard Missile (SM-3) Blocks IB and IIA and development efforts and program planning for future baselines. The contractor will continue to provide the necessary material, equipment, supplies and technical engineering required to define, design, develop, integrate, test, deliver Weapons System capability to support developmental testing, the flight test program and ground test Campaigns, tracking exercises, critical experiments, surveillance missions, and other risk reduction efforts, and ultimately operational capability for Aegis Cruisers and Destroyers. The contractor will continue to work in close collaboration with the Prime Contractors for the other MDA Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) Elements and the MDA National Teams to optimize Aegis BMD performance as part of the BMDS. The proposed contract also includes Foreign Military Sales (FMS) efforts. The awarded total cumulative face value of this contract is $1,034,550,501 with an overall total contract value of $1,201,864,444 and is funded with RDT&E funds.
