- Solicitation Number: FA4664-05-C-0001-P00082 (Letter RFP) Notice Type: Pre-solicitation J&A Statutory Authority: FAR 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source Contract Award Date: July 31, 2010 (estimated) Contract Award Number: FA4664-05-C-0001 Modification Number: P00082 Synopsis: The 452nd Operational Contracting Office at March ARB CA (452nd LGC) intends to award a sole source modification to extend the period of performance of contract number FA6466-05-C-0001 for base operating support services including Base Supply, Fuels, Traffic Management, Transient Aircraft, Vehicle Management and Operations, Real Property Maintenance, Airfield Management and Meteorological Services. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. The contract is currently scheduled to expire on July 31, 2010. The 452nd LGC plans to extend the contract through January 31, 2011 to ensure contract coverage until the competitive source selection for the follow-on contract can be completed. The extension will provide for continuation of uninterrupted services to the March ARB operations described above. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. Not awarding this extension would cause serious harm to the Government. However, the Government will consider responses from all responsible sources received by the date and time identified above. Written responses must include sufficient information to establish capability to fulfill the requirement in the timeframe required. Any responses received will only be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in lieu of the sole source extension described in this notice, and such determination shall be made at the sole discretion of 452nd LGC.
