Description
The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has a requirement for architectural and engineering services for certified design and certified construction drawings for a second floor training venue at the Clandestine Lab RAID Training Room. This shall include safety, fire, and building code requirements, site survey, progress review and construction visit. The Government anticipates award of a single, firm fixed-price purchase order based on best value in accordance with FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures. See attached Statement of Work. The contractor shall visit the job site and verify the specifications and drawings. All prospective offerors shall inspect the site where the services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the price of contract performance to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. A site survey is scheduled for 10:00 a.m, Friday, April 30, 2010. All prospective offerors shall report to the following location the date of the site visit: Drug Enforcement Administration - Office of Training, 2500 Investigation Parkway, Quantico, VA 22135. Please contact Alyse White at (202) 307-4837 to register for the site visit no later than COB April 26, 2010. Due to the level of security, the following information must be provided upon registration: a complete list of all persons attending the site visit, including the Full Name, Date of Birth, Social Security Number, Gender, Race, Driver's License Number and State of issue, Home Address, and Company Name. Evaluation will be based in order of importance: (1) Qualifications to include specialized experience and technical competence, (2) Past Performance, and (3) Price. All sources may submit a quotation which will be evaluated. Offerors may submit their quote in accordance with their standard commercial practices (e.g. on company letterhead, formal quote form, etc.) but must include the following information: complete mailing address, discounts for prompt payment if any, delivery/availability of products, DUNS number, and the Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN). Responses must be submitted electronically to alyse.n.white@usdoj.gov. All respondents will be considered by this agency. The Government intends to make a single award to the responsive, responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to this synopsis, will be the best value to the Government. All offers shall be received by closing date May 6, 2010 3:00pm EST.
