- Description
- Listing of packages included in this requirement. This is not a Request for Quote (RFQ)/Proposal (RFP). A solicitation is not being issued at this time and this notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this announcement or otherwise pay for any information submitted by the respondents to this request. Vendors shall not provide pricing. The United States Transportation Command is currently conducting market research to identify potential HUBZone small business concerns that can provide ALL the products in the attached Technical Requirements and in the following paragraph: The AT21 Program Management Office (PMO) has a requirement for multiple software packages for the Enterprise Integration Lab (EIL). The software is needed for the operational, development, and testing environment. The Red Hat Enterprise Linux Advanced Platform provides an open source operating system for servers and workstations. The VMware group of products, comprised of VMware vCenter Lab Manager 4.0, VMware ESX Support, and VMware Workstation 7, provides virtual environments in the server and on the developer workstations to minimize downtimes when an issue arises. XMLSpy 2010 Enterprise Edition and XMLSpy 2010 Standard Edition are development tools necessary for the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and the various messaging used in the environments. HUBZone vendors who believe they are capable of providing these software packages are asked to provide the following information in their initial response: company's full name, Cage Code, DUNS number, address, and point of contact with telephone number and email address. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the requirement is 423430. The size standard for NAICS is 100 employees. Oral submissions of information will not be accepted in response to this notice. Interested firms must submit the above detailed information to perform this effort in writing to the identified point of contact no later than 9:00 am CDT 26 April 2010. The Point of Contact for this Request for Information (RFI) is Jennifer Detmer, Contract Specialist. Interested parties capable of performing this requirement shall send responses to: jennifer.detmer@ustranscom.mil.
