- Description
- The Bureau of Land Management contemplates releasing a solicitation numbered L10PS02278 on or about May 11, 2010 to construct approximately 6 miles of 4-strand barbed/barbless wire fence and remove approximately 4.5 miles of 4-strand damaged fence line and 1.5 miles (in Artman Basin) of woven wire fence. In addition, all trees burned or damaged 15 feet either side of the fence right-of-way shall be felled, unless marked otherwise for retention. The project is located south of Kimberly, in Grant and Wheeler Counties, Oregon. All fence materials will be furnished by the Government. The period of performance is 90 calendar days from notice to proceed, with an estimated start date of June 14, 2010. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this project is 238990, with a size standard of $14 million annually. Payment (100%) and performance (100%) bonds are required. This project is a total small business set-aside, with an estimated magnitude of between $25,000 and $100,000. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. A firm-fixed price is anticipated. This solicitation will be posted electronically at www.FedConnect.net. Paper copies are no longer available.
