- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT The Air Armament Center Enterprise Acquisition Division intends to negotiate a sole source Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC), located at 10949 E Peakview Ave, Centennial, CO, 80112 for the procurement of the following: SNC will deliver hardware and provide services to maintain precision strike components previously delivered by SNC which are now employed. This contract will also provide for integration of precision strike capability on additional aircraft, upgrade of the capability as needed to sustain combat operations and procurement of spare parts. SNC developed the products being acquired under previous Government contracts. The contract will result in a three (3) year IDIQ firm fixed price and cost plus fixed fee contract. The Government intends to solicit, negotiate and award to only one contractor using other than full and open competition procedures pursuant to the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, however all responses received within fifteen (15) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the Government. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any responses to this notice of contract action shall be submitted to Sean Capik, sean.capik@eglin.af.mil, and Dana Alexander, dana.alexander@eglin.af.mil no later than 10 May 2010, 16:00 PM CST.
