Description
THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICIATION. NO FURTHER SOLICIATION WILL BE ISSUED. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Q2101100012 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulations. (iv) This procurement is being issued as Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS code 333315 with a Small Business Size Standard of 500 employees. (v) The contractor shall provide the following items: 1) Time-lapse Camera package. - 5 each -Time-lapse package to include:a. Canon Rebel XS (1000D) Camera or better b. Fiberglass housing, glass windowc. High capacity internal battery packd. 5 watt solar panele. Solar chargerf. Battery converterg. DigiSnap 2100h. Pair of 8 GB memory cardsi. All required tools, cables, manuals and accessoriesj. Shipped fully assembledk. 32 GB Memory cardl. 12V Battery Cable, 20 FTShipping FOB Destination to Seaward, AK by 06/01/2010 Time lapse camera system must be completely autonomous and capable of acquiring photographs at a user-specified interval for one year under harsh environmental conditions (-40 to +30 C). Camera enclosure must have a glass window and gaskets that are both air and water tight. Enclosure must have a camera mounting system that allows the camera to be easily removed from the housing and replaced at the exact same orientation. Internal power supply must include non-venting rechargeable battery pack and circuitry for powering a programmable shutter release and digital SLR camera. Photovoltaic charging system must include solar panel and a charge controller. The programmable shutter release must be compatible with various digital SLR cameras. It must be capable of taking photographs at user-specified intervals and should interface with a computer. The camera must be a digital SLR, capable of acquiring high-resolution (i.e. 10 MP) photographs. Camera must be able to acquire photographs in both JPEG and raw format. Time lapse system should include computer software and full documentation. Assemblies listed are Brand name or Equal please provide specification sheet if different than requested item.
