- RECOVERY - THIS IS AN AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009 (ARRA) PROCUREMENT. This purpose of this announcement is to make notice that the Forest Service contemplates releasing a solicitation number AG-0489-S-10-0411 on or about April 27, 2010, for Jet Ladder Fuels Reduction in the Deschutes National Forest; located in Deschutes County, Oregon. The resulting contract will utilize funds provided by the AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA) OF 2009. Interested parties are notified that the inclusion of unique provisions required in implementing the Act, including those for significant reporting and transparency, will be required of the successful bidder. When the solicitation is released, it will be released through this FedBizOpps website, and prospective bidders should visit this FedBizOpps website from time to time on or after April 27, 2010, to obtain a copy of the solicitation. PROJECT DESCRIPTION – It is the purpose of this solicitation to secure services on the Bend/Fort Rock Ranger District for (1) tree cutting (thinning) and (2) treatment of activity-created and pre-existing slash by bucking and (3) handpiling of activity-created and pre-existing slash. PARTICIPATION: This acquisition is determined to be 100% set aside for Small Business. The North American Classification System Code (NAICS) is 115310. The size standard is $17.5 Million. The solicitation with specifications and Service Contract Act wage rates will be posted to the FedBizOps website www.fbo.gov. REGISTRATIONS.
