- The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) intends to issue a blanket purchase agreement (BPA) to procure Tri-band System Spares and Training to Global SATCOM Technology, Inc (Global SATCOM). NGA intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source in accordance with FAR 6.302-1; only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. NGA's current communications architecture relies on the GlobalSatcom TR-1800-TT Tri-band SATCOM systems. This is the only training course that is based exactly on the system configuration already fielded. No other training course is able to meet the NGA's requirement to provide training on the current configuration already fielded. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
