Description

The Department of the Interior, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), has a requirement to rehabilitate existing wet lab space of the Leetown Science Center (LSC), National Fish Health Research Laboratory (NFHRL) Tank Pad West to create a Bio-Safety Level-3 Aquaculture (BSL-# Aquaculture) wet lab complex including an influent and effluent pathogen disinfection system. Specific details are provided in the construction documents and statement of work. The place of performance for the required work to be performed is, LSC-National Fish Health research Laboratory Kearneysville, WV.The Government anticipates award of a Firm Fixed Price type contract. The procurement is anticipated to include a period of performance of June 1, 2010 to December, 31, 2010. The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available on https://www.fbo.gov on or about 04/23/2010. The offeror is responsible for monitoring this site for the release of this solicitation and amendments (if any). A formal solicitation, statement of work, and technical exhibits are not available for release at this time. The applicable North American industry Classification System (NAICS0) code is 541712 and the size standard is $33.5.
