- Solicitation number has been updated from SPM4A6-09-R-0883 to SPM4A6-10-R-0034 NSN: 6220-01-415-4836, Aircraft Landing Light. Pre-solicitation notice issued to established a Firm Fix Price contract. This solicitation is unrestricted. There is no surge requirement for this procurement.This item is not commercial off the shelf. Approved sources are Grimes Aerospace Company, Cage 72914, P/N: 45-0263-5011 and McDonnell Douglas, Cage 88277, P/N: 17B9E3004-501. The total contract quantity is 72 each. This item is use on the C-17A airlifter aircraft. Specifications, plans or drawings relating to the procurement are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. This is a Critical Application item. Delivery of production units is 202 days ARO or best available. FOB at Destination and Inspection/Acceptance at Destination will be required. Automated Best Value System (ABVS) applies. The anticipated solicitation issue date is September 15, 2009 and the anticipated closing date is Novermber 2, 2009. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) at https:// www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP/ on the issue date cited in the Request for Proposal (RFP). A paper copy of this solicitation will not be available to requesters.
