- Answers to Vendor Questions: Solicitation# NIHOF2010214 Acquisition Title: Air Balancing and HVAC System Repairs Question #1 Section B - Schedule of Pricing - What is the basis for determining the projected levels of effort for the labor categories identified in the tables in paragraphs B.1.1 and B.1.2 if this is intended to be a firm fixed price contract? Response: The rates will be fixed and will escalate for the option years. Question #2 Section B - Schedule of Pricing - If this is intended to be a time and materials contract, what are the projected levels of effort for the labor categories identified in the tables in paragraphs B.1.1 and B.1.2? If so, are we to only provide the hourly and overtime rates? Response: This will be a firm fixed price contract and not a time and materials contract. Yes, you are only to provide hourly and overtime rates. Question #3 Section B, Para B.8.2 - Will on-site storage space be made available for storage of tools, construction materials, etc.? Response: No, there will not be storage of tools, construction materials provided for this contract. Question #4 Section B - Schedule of Pricing - Will other labor categories such as clerical/admin support, mechanical engineering, etc. be considered as additional CLINs? Response: Clerical and Administrative support would be categories as part of overhead costs. The Other categories not listed would be determined at a later date. Question #5 Section B - Schedule of Pricing - What is the procedure for pricing materials and hardware for utility system repairs? Is a projected bill of materials to be developed and submitted for approval for each task? Response: To obtain pricing for materials and hardware can usually be obtained through the Federal Supply Schedule or GSA. Yes, projected bill of materials would be developed and submitted per task.
