Description
Q & A's: 1) Will the fork truck that you have on site have an extending boom to load the ice trailer? No. 2) How much trouble will it be to have an operator when the ice resupply truck comes? NO trouble, we will have a M4K there but it can only set the pallet in the trailer, I do not know what kind of refer trailer we will get. We will have to use a floor jack to move it forward in the trailer. 3) How far out will you be project your ice requirements 24hrs, 48 hrs, etc. 6800lbs per Day, if possible can we get it delivered the same as the rations---Monday, Wednesday, Friday. 4) What size bags do you want of cubed ice 20# bag, 40# bag? 40# bag 5) Do you recall your projected totals (cube [bag size] and block)? 6800lbs per day, 40# bags, based of 8lbs per person per day. But there needs to be a option of cutting back totals if we do not use that much. Additional information: The vendor will have to use a pallet jack/floor jack to move the ice to the rear of the truck, the M4K will take it to the units ice reefer and the unit uses a pallet jack/floor jack to move it in the truck. The units may reduce the amount of ice required per delivery. The POC will call the day before the delivery to reduce the order. Monday's delivery will take care of Tuesday/Wednesday, Wednesday delivery will take care of Thursday/Friday and Friday delivery will take care of Saturday/Sunday/Monday. The first delivery will have to be worked out. *6800lbs per day should be 170 40lb bags per day.
