- Statement of Work (SOW) TYPE OF ANNOUNCEMENT: This is a sources sought synopsis for information and planning purposes only; under NAICS code 423210 Office Furniture Merchant Wholesalers and 541614 Process, Physical Distribution, and Logistics Consulting Services. This requirement will be competed as Full and Open. The purpose is to identify potential sources capable of meeting the requirements for providing stand alone furniture, workstations and systems furniture, as described herein. All responsible sources shall submit an abbreviated capabilities statement (not to exceed 5 pages, 12 pt font) and/ or a Certificate of Competency. Large businesses shall submit a preliminary/abbreviated subcontracting plan, in which all of these will be reviewed and considered by the agency. Responses to this notification must be received no later than 10:00 A.M. MST on 10 May 2010. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: The estimated magnitude of this Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) requirement is $100,000 but not to exceed $5,000,000. The contractor shall provide all management, labor, tools, equipment, transportation, materials and incidentals necessary to provide a comprehensive furnishings management function of government-furnished property to include but not limited to: design and layout; procurement; installation; delivery; removal; inventory; maintenance/repair; storage and budget in support of Cannon AFB, NM in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) which is attached. Contractors are encouraged to review the PWS and provide any recommendations or suggestions for improvement or clarity. This synopsis does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quote (RFQ) or an Invitation for Bid (IFB), nor does this issuance restrict the Government’s acquisition approach. The Government reserves the right to reject in whole or in part of any industry input as a result of this announcement. The Government recognizes that proprietary data may be a part of this effort. If so, clearly mark such restricted or proprietary information and present it as an addendum to the non-restricted/non-proprietary information. If the Government decides to award a contract for this or a related effort, an RFP will be published.
