- This is a sources sought announcement for written information only. This is not a solicitation for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. No telephone calls will be accepted. In preparation for a future procurement, The Naval Facilities Engineering Service Center (NFESC), Port Hueneme, CA is performing market research to determine potential firms that can provide all labor, materials, and services necessary to provide engineering, logistics, and training support services. The required services shall be performed worldwide and key personnel must have a secret clearance. Attachment (1) describes the required services. Organizations that have all or some of these capabilities are invited to submit information on their related experience, technology available and proposed approach to demonstrate meeting the requirements. A summary, demonstrating relevant work experience in engineering support, logistics support, and training support should be included. Responses to this announcement will serve as a first step for evaluating alternatives. This announcement is not a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Discuss the requirement and your firm's, ability to provide the requested procurement. The applicable NAICS code is 541330 with a size limitation standard of $4 million. Small Business concerns must identify their small business socio-economic categories. Interested sources must submit any comments and information via email to ryan.boudreau@navy.mil no later than May 10, 2010. Responses received after this deadline may not be considered. Since this is a sources sought announcement, no evaluation letters will be issued to the participants.
