Box 25287Denver CO 80225-0287 Solicitation Number: 1443N2011100064Closing Date:July 9, 2010 This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice: Notice is provided of the Governments intention to hold a project community day on Wednesday, May 19, 2010, from 8:30 - 9:30 am. It will be held in the Conference Room (Door #63) of the Park's Maintenance Facility at 1000 Ohio Drive SW, Washington DC 20024 to introduce prospective offerors to the project prior to the release of the formal solicitation. Draft solicitation documents will also be available on or about May 5, 2010 for review and comment by the public prior to issuance of the formal solicitation. The attendance at the project community day is voluntary, but attendance is highly encouraged for interested offerors anticipating submitting offers in response to the solicitation. The project requirements include the performance of a complete structural rehabilitation of the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool and Surrounding Areas in Washington DC. This project will perform a complete structural rehabilitation of the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, as well as construct new water handling and water treatment systems. Construct a new vehicle barrier security perimeter for eastern approaches to the Lincoln Memorial, and rehabilitate the historic and existing landscape of the Reflecting Pool and adjacent Elm Walk areas. The estimated performance period of this project is planned for October 2010 - October 2012 (24 mos).
