Providescomplete integrated hydraulic power to stabilator control actuators.Quantity: 3 EAApplicable to: F-4Destn: FMSHISTORY: There is no available history on this part number. Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. IAW FAR 5.207(c)(13)(ii), All responsible sources may submit acapability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be consideredby the agency. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which theGovernment intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limitednumber of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability torespond to the requirement or submit proposals. The AMC code is 2C; Competitive, This part requires engineering sourceapproval by the design control activity in order to maintain the qualityof the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, andmanufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisitionof the part from the approved souce(s). The approved source(s) retaindata rights, manufacturing knowledge, or technical data that are noteconomically available to the Government, and the data or knowledge isessential to maintaining the quality of the part. An alternate sourcemust qualify in accordance with the design control activity'sprocedures, as approved by the cognizant Government engineeringactivity. The qualification procedures must be approved by theGovernment engineering activity having jurisdiction over the part in theintended application. The solicitation will be available for download on the release date fromwww.fedbizops.gov. No telephone requests. Hardcopies of thesolicitation will not be sent from this office. While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers,the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination ofprice and past performance factors as detailed in the solicitation.Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offers orpotential offerors during the proposal development phase of thisacquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish theauthority of the program director or contracting officer, but tocommunicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, andrecommendations to the appropriate government personnel. Whenrequested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as tosource of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in theevaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
