- Here are answers to the questions asked: 1) Are you expecting the standard Cognos training materials? By this I mean the training materials offered by IBM Cognos? Yes, the training materials offered by IBM Cognos are the standard. 2) Will customized training materials using the Cognos 8.4 Sample database as a source be acceptable? No, this is not acceptable. We will not deviate from the IBM Cognos training. 3) Is it your expectation that this training will be delivered in Bethesda Md? Yes, onsite at NLM. 4) Will you be providing a training room at your location with enough PCs to satisfy your class size? Yes. 5) If you will be providing the training room, will the PCs in this training room have access to the internet so that they can access our secure web server which hosts the Cognos 8.4 environment? Yes, the PCs in the training room will have access to the Internet. 6) Are you expecting to purchase any additional Cognos 8.4 licenses? No 7) Do you have an expectation for the number of days that each training course should last? This depends on how much time is needed to complete the training. No restrictions are being placed on number of days. 8) Do you have a timeframe (i.e.: 9am to 5pm) during which the training should take place each day? Normal business hours of between 8:30am-4:30pm or 9am-5pm. 9) I would like to know exactly to how many people these trainings are to be offered to in order to complete the quote and send it to you prior to the specified date. 12 students 10) I understand the training is to be offered on-site, so you would be providing the computer equipments needed to install the corresponding 'virtual machines' to be used for the two trainings, correct? Yes, we have a training room that is equipped with computers for 12 students.
