Description

RECOVERY TAS::14 1112::TAS Project Number LDDFR0730000 - Project Name and Location: Little Bookcliffs Access Road Repairs, located near Cameo, in Mesa County, Colorado The physical characteristics of the projects are: Installation of one (1) precast concrete box culvert, cast-in-place concrete foundations and wing walls, importing and compacting backfill material on the culvert approaches, road grading, road reshaping, and road graveling with CDOT class 6 gravel. The project includes complete construction of all work presented and developed in the Plans and Specifications, to be subsequently provided in an upcoming Request For Proposal. The project is sponsored by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Colorado State Office, Grand Junction, CO, and will be administered by U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service (USFWS), Region 9, Contracting Division & Facilities Mgt., Arlington, VA., POC: Thomas Bales (Contract Specialist) 703-358-2390, Thomas_Bales@fws.gov. THIS PROCUREMENT IS FUNDED BY THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA) OF 2009 AND IS SUBJECT TO ARRA REPORTING REQUIREMENTS. THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PERPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS ONLY BEING OFFERED TO IDIQ HOLDERS AWARDED AS RESULT OF SOLICITATION 982109R207 MULTIPLE AWARD TASK ORDER CONTRACT (MATOC) ON THE WESTERN HALF OF THE UNITED STATES. The three companies who will be competing for this project are C3, LLC.; CH2 M Hill; and URS Group, Inc. Full and open solicitation 982109R207 was a two step acquisition under FAR 36.3 and FAR Part 15 and was awarded on December 9, 2009. A Request For Proposal including Plans and Specifications will be provided to the following three (3) Firms who will be competing for this project: C3, LLC., CH2 M Hill. and URS Group, Inc. This ARRA peoject will consist of a Design - Build for the construction of the site within Huerfano County, Colorado.
