- Solicitation EA1330-10-RQ-0480 The U.S. Dept of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Eastern Region Acquisition Division intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for a firm, fixed price contract for services, to curate and maintain the North Atlantic Right Whale Photo-Identification Catalog, in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.5. The RFQ will be issued on or about April 24, 2010 via the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) web site at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The RFQ number will be EA1330-10-RQ-0480, and it incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-39. Hard copies of the RFQ will not be issued. It is incumbent upon contractors to monitor the FeDBizOpps site for RFQ release and all subsequent amendments. The RFQ will be issued as unrestricted. The North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) is 712110 and the corresponding small business size standard is $7.0M. The period of performance will be July 01, 2010, through JUNE 30, 2011, with four one-year options. All work shall be performed in accordance with the Statement of Work. Quotes must be submitted to the DOC, NOAA Eastern Region Acquisition Division on or about May 15, 2010. Quotes must be submitted electronically either by fax to 757-441-3786 or via e-mail to Sandy.Stevens@noaa.gov. Inquiries will only be accepted via email to Brian.O'Boyle@noaa.gov. Prospective offerors who are interested in submitting a quote for this acquisition are encouraged to register with the FedBizOpps Vendor Notification Service and to be on the Interested Vendors List for this acquisition (see applicable tab within FedBizOpps where this synopsis is posted). Vendors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov and obtain (and provide with a quote) a DUNs number. All responsible businesses may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency.
