- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). Submit written proposals (to include price quote for all CLINS) on RFQ reference number OPM19-10-Q-0005. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-34. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 443120, and the small business size standard is 100 employees or less. This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued on a Brand Name basis limited to EMC for the following commercial item: CLIN 0001EMC DS300B-8G8PU DS-300B 8G 8PORT UPGRADE KITQuantity: 8 CLIN 0002EMC DSBRLKT-B DSB SW GEN RCK KIT-BQuantity: 8 CLIN 0003EMC DS-300B-8G DS-300B 8/24P 8G BASE SWITCHQuantity: 8 CLIN 0004 EMC C13-PWR-12B US/NA 5-15P to C13 Power Cord-BQuantity: 8 CLIN 0005 3-Year Warranty The contractor shall provide fixed-prices. Quotations must be received by the Office of Personnel Management no later than 1:00 PM eastern standard time on May 14, 2010. The selected Offeror must comply with the following commercial item terms and conditions. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The selected Offeror must submit a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The following FAR clauses in paragraph (b) of FAR clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, will apply: 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.225-13, 52.232-34, and OPM-specific clauses. NOTICE TO OFFERORS: Contractor shall offer to the Government the same warranty commonly accepted in similar commercial purchases. Quotations in response to this RFQ are due by 1:00 pm Eastern Standard Time, May 14, 2010. Only written requests for additional information will be accepted. NO CALL WILL BE ACCEPTED. Notification of any changes shall be made only on the internet. Quotations submitted in response to this notice shall include the solicitation number in the subject line and be signed, dated and submitted via email to Lisa.Adgerson@opm.gov.
