(Subject Continued) Terriorism Protection B5942, PROJECT NUMBER WWYK050544A, Repair Ext Dorm Walls for Anti- Terriorism Protection B5930, PROJECT NUMBER WWYK050544B, Repair Ext Dorm Walls for Anti- Terriorism Protection B5931 RECOVERY - PER FAR 5.7 THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY; THEREFORE FAR 5.203 DOES NOT APPLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY WAS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTOR(S) UNDER THE CURRENT CONTRACT NUMBER(S): Asset Group, Inc., W912BV-08-D-2050, TO #0003 As part of Operations and Maintenance, Army, Recovery Act, modification has been issued to Asset Group, Inc., to perform the following work: The revised scope of work was inadvertently left out of awarded contract. Scope of work was revised as follows: (1) Repair East Jet Engine Power Check Pad, Facilities 51170 and 51161: Under paragraph 4. Construction, add subparagraph as follows: 4.1.1.8: East Pad Black Deflector Metal. Repair or replace angle iron bracing as needed. Replace corroded corrugated metal panels to match existing where necessary. (2) Repair Exterior Dorm Walls for ATFP B/5942: a. Under paragraph 1. Scope of Work, subparagraph 1.1.1 add a second subparagraph as follows: Where permitted under UFC 4-010-01, Anti-terrorism Design for Buildings, it will be acceptable to the Owners to replace only the glazing (with new laminated glazing) and retain the existing frames beyond the 25 meters (82 foot) standoff distance with the entire window unit being replaced only at windows within the 25 meter (82 foot) standoff distance from a parking or roadway curb in quantities as determined by Contractor. The contractor shall verify that existing frames shall accept a 3/4-inch minimum thickness insulated glass unit and that once glazing is installed the contractor shall put forth diligent effort to make windown operate correctly. b. After Note 4 under subparagraph 1.4 Demolition and Pre-Construction Items, add the following subparagraph 1.4.1, By Owner, Prior to Commencement of Work. The user will relocate any furniture or appliances in the rooms to a distance of 5 feet from the exterior wall to allow access to the windows. (3) Repair Exterior Dorm Walls for ATFP B/5930: a.
