Description
This Sources Sought/Market Survey is seeking interested businesses for competitive consideration. The 55th Contracting Squadron, Offutt AFB, NE is conducting a market survey to determine the sizes and types of businesses available for a firm fixed-price contract. This will be for the acquisition of extended warranties for 32 DigiCORA MW-31 Upper Air Sounding Systems ("Systems"). The Systems consists of a dual channel precise positioning system ("PPS")/standard positioning system ("SPS") wind finding GPS receiver (crypto key capable), deployable laptop computer, MW31 METGRAPH color graphics Analysis Program, and the CG31 Portable Antenna. This hardware and software system is packaged together to provide upper air profiles for deployed weather forces world-wide. The warranty support ensures return to service support via telephone support 24 hours a day/7 days a week/365 days a year. NAICS code is 334519 with an SBA Size Standard of 500 Employees. Prospective firms should notify this office of their interest in this notice and must indicate their company size and provide descriptive literature or other documentation. Responses to this Sources Sought should be submitted electronically via e-mail addressed to mary.thomsen@offutt.af.mil. Responses should include the following: (1) Identification of company size status, certifications, i.e., 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, or if you are a small business, a self-certification; (2) If you are a Section 8(a), HUBZone, or SDVOSB firm considering a joint venture, you will need to provide proof that this consideration has been forwarded to the appropriate SBA office for approval; (3) Proof of experience and capability. NOTE: This is not a request to be placed on a solicitation mailing list nor is it a Request for Proposal, or an announcement of a solicitation. Submissions must be received no later than 1:00 p.m. Central Standard Time on May 12, 2010. Responses shall be limited to ten (10) pages. The Government will not pay for any material provided in response to this market survey nor return the data provided. The results of this survey will be considered to be in effect for a period of one year from the date of this notice.
