- The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) on behalf of the ProgramExecutive Office (PEO) Command, Control, Communications, Computers andIntelligence (C4I) International C4I Integration Program Office (PMW 740)intends to issue Requests for Proposal (RFPs) for two (2) Seaport-E task ordersfor the Syun An Extension (Syun An-E) effort. The two (2) solicitations willreplace the Multiple Award Contract (MAC) Indefinite Delivery/IndefiniteQuantity (IDIQ) solicitation formerly referred to and synopsized as TaiwanIntegration and Support Services (TISS). The Syun An-E effort will includeservices required for implementation, integration, and life cycle support ofTaiwan military operations. These services are being acquired through ForeignMilitary Sales (FMS) cases for the Taiwan Ministry of National Defense (MND). The two (2) RFPs for these competitive efforts are anticipated to be releasedby late June 2010 and will include one (1) Task Order (TO) for the Syun An LifeCycle Engineering and Software Maintenance follow-on effort and one (1) TO forthe Syun An Life Cycle Operations and Support follow-on effort. Both TOs willhave a period of performance of approximately five years, including options. Award of the two (2) TOs is planned for late CY 2010. This pre-solicitation notice is provided for informational purposes only and isnot a RFP. This synopsis does not constitute an invitation for bid or RFP, andis not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a contract ororder. The Government will not pay for any effort expended in response to thisnotice.
